Coming this June…

After losing her husband and retiring from teaching, Lydia has built a life she genuinely enjoys in Asheville, and she certainly isn’t looking for her world to be turned upside down. Then she meets Grant, and from the moment they connect, saying yes to him feels a little too easy.

Grant knows what he wants. Warm, confident, and passionate about restoring old homes, he isn’t interested in games or hesitation. After losing a marriage he believed in, he wants something real—and from the moment he meets Lydia, he knows she’s a woman worth pursuing.

Then Lydia learns something about Grant that changes everything.

And when the space between them finally breaks something neither of them can ignore, Lydia is forced to confront the possibility that her fear may cost her the very thing she wants most.

Coming this June…

Trish has spent years building a life that is full, structured, and firmly under control. As a judge with deep family responsibilities, she doesn’t take risks—and she certainly doesn’t say yes to strangers. But when she’s stood up on an online date and a man across the bar sends over a drink, she does exactly that.

Evan knows how to show up in the moment. Easy to talk to and impossible to ignore, he’s drawn to Trish from the start and doesn’t hesitate to pursue her. But no matter how much he cares, there are parts of his life—and himself—he doesn’t know how to share.

Then Trish realizes Evan has been holding something back.

And when the connection between them begins to strain under the weight of what isn’t being said, Trish is forced to confront whether she can trust what they have—or risk losing the man she never expected to want in the first place.

Eva Cantor has loved stories for as long as she can remember. As a child, she spent hours reading, daydreaming, and creating worlds of her own, and she started writing when she was still in elementary school. Becoming an author was one of her earliest dreams, even when life took her in other directions.

After spending years as a teacher, Eva is now returning to that childhood dream and writing the kinds of stories she has always loved most: romantic, emotional, character-driven stories about connection, vulnerability, and the ways love can change everything.

She adores writing, usually with peppermint tea nearby and her cat interrupting the process. She also loves to travel, where new places, conversations, and experiences often spark ideas for future stories.
